These are solid steel construction and not the chrome coated plastic I had seen in a similar style by a different manufacturer. I highly recommend them.

The new ceiling light looks great and fits in with a newly renovated master bathroom. My husband installed the light with little or no problems. The light is heavier than it looks, so it took two of us to install it. Very happy with our purchase from Lihging Universe.
