Each is hand made and painted. If you order more than 1, they won't be identical in size, shape or colour. They are made from pine (3/4 inch) and have steel inserts for the fasteners. The hole spacing may not fit a retro fit, if you have doors, they will likely interfer with each other if the two handles come together in the middle. You can use #10 wood screws to align the ducks with the holes and the spacing, if you do this, use a plastic insert for the screws. The paint is not 100% water resistant nor is the finish a hard finish, thus, if sticky hands get toothpaste etc. on the pulls, cleaning is an issue as you will wear the paint off. For bathroom use, I suggest that you spray them with either varnish or urathane for extra protection. They can be stripped and repainted any colour you like.
